I never discuss my politics or my humanity in my professional capacity as a voice actor, teacher or coach, however in these extraordinary times, I would like to clarify for anyone concerned with whom they are aligning their brand; I vote for democracy, support human rights and women's rights, believe in fact-based journalism and scientific inquiry.
I hope all my friends, colleagues and clients - irrespective of race or identity - count me as an ally.
In other news, tuxedo kitty is Freckle. Dilute tortie kitty is Ms. Peaches Scampetini. Freckle and Ms. Peaches Scampetini are (finally) friends.

Backstory:
I'm a bi-lingual American voice actor, who grew up speaking German at home in Astoria, Queens, NY and attending German school every Saturday. After majoring in Acting at the School of Fine Arts at Boston University, I moved to Hamburg and then Berlin, Germany before moving back to the USA in 2012.
Professional experience & training:
After graduating with a BFA in acting from BU, I was hired as news & features reader at international TV news broadcaster DW-TV in Berlin, Germany and then later became one of their station promo / trailer voices.
Since 1995, I've worked freelance as a professional voice actor as well as news reader - delighting in being a museum audio guide narrator, and narrating hundreds of documentary features and reportage, trailers and promos as a news reader and documentary narrator and promo and trailer voice over artist for DWTV. I've narrated installations, including one at MoMA and the museum guide The Garden - the only permanent exhibition at the JPaul Getty Museum. I have performed animated characters in TV and cinema release animated films and cartoons, done the voice over for children's apps, corporate narrations, explainers and commercials.
As a video game voice actor, I've even blown out my voice in games — most notably in Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, voicing Sophia the snippy lovelorn, German AI.
Fun Facts:
I speak accent-free German fluently and am comfortable working in an array of accents and dialects.
